A classic rock band on what is now becoming Derby's best known classic rock night, if they can pull it off, it will truly be a night to remember, by about 9-30pm the club was filling up, an air of excitement, and a few Rainbow fans, what I mean is these guys had bought the vinyl the first time around and then bought it all over again on CD! True Rainbow fans, so there'll be no pulling the wool over the guys' eyes.

RAINBOW RISING were formed in 1996 by guitarist Roy Chudobskyi, he wanted to recreate the unique Rainbow sound and the visual spectacle that was Rainbow live on stage.  The band took us through the classic tracks and more, 'Kill the King', 'Stargazer', 'Man on the Silver Mountain', 'Do you close your eyes', 'Miss-Mistreated', 'Since you've been Gone', 'I Surrender', the engine room was at full speed, the vocals were spot on, the guitarist was perfection, the band were as close to the real thing as you'll ever get, the crowd were rocking, over an hour and twenty or so minutes, the band were shouted back for an encore, 'Long live Rock 'n' Roll', 'Black Night'.

Long Live RAINBOW RISING a truly Classic Rock band on a Classic Rock night.
