Rainbow Rising at: The Victoria Inn Swindon
This was one gig I was looking
forward to as it was Rainbow Rising's first Swindon appearance, The Vic
was less than full but judging by the reaction of those who turned out
it won't be their last!
The Band played most of the Dio era songs and
with a keyboard player of the class of Tor Underseth in the Band ,
they were spot on. The Graham Bonnet hits "all night long,",
"since you've been gone" also got a great reaction from the
crowd, but it was "Eyes of the world" from the 'Down To
Earth' album, that really got the full treatment, Bass player, Tony
Speakman assures me that songs from the Joe Lynn Turner era will get an
airing next time they play in Swindon, lets hope it is not to long!
