Steve
Taylor on bass and a Cozy Powellesque Mick Rice on drums provided the
perfect backdrop for the band’s three stars to shine.

On
Keyboards is Tor who originally was a huge Jon Lord fan, then
progressing to the style of Tony Carey his keyboard playing is
outstanding, on the occasional solo and especially his interplay with
the guitar work of Barry, the Blackmore Lead guitarist, who, it has to
be said was simply outstanding!.

The
album "Rainbow Live in Germany - 1976" seems to have been
used as the inspiration for the band's versions of: 16th
Century Greensleeves, Do You Close Your Eyes, Catch The Rainbow, Still
I’m Sad and Man on the Silver Mountain.

The
band is not (but surely should not be expected to be?) an exactly
perfect replica of the original band in either appearance or sound but
at many points in its act, it does come incredibly close to achieving
this; unbelievably close in fact!

The band took us through the classic
tracks and more, 'Kill the King', 'Stargazer', 'Man on the Silver
Mountain', 'Do you close your eyes', 'Miss-Mistreated', 'Since you've
been Gone', 'I Surrender', the engine room was at full speed, the
vocals were spot on, the guitarist was perfection, the band were as
close to the real thing as you'll ever get, full

To tell the truth I was
secretly expecting the vocals to be a little on the poor side as I
rate Ronnie James Dio as having one of the most distinctive voices in
rock music. I was, as they say, pleasantly surprised! Vocally I was
almost unable to find fault and the bands cover of 'Kill the King'
sticks in my mind as one of the best 'take offs' I have ever heard. full
